Colonel Bill Bialozor and Sergeant Mark Mebes announced the new JROTC team captains for the next scholastic year at the annual Military Ball on May 12 at the Elks Lodge.
Twenty-two JROTC members were appointed in total. Among them are junior John Gossett, who will assume the role of Battalion Commander, junior Brandon Webster, who will be a Command Sergeant Major, and sophomores Sara Beko, Bailey Knap, and Zachary Chlipala, who will be Company Commanders. Bialozor and Mebes selected these individuals by weighing their performance throughout the school year.
“It’s a fantastic group of kids,” Bialozor said. “We’ve had a superb year in terms of student accomplishments.”
